An early 18th-century Chinese woodcut illustrating 24 types of external haemorrhoids, from Yizong jinjian: Waike xinfa - The Golden Mirror Of Medicine: Essential Knowledge and Secrets of External Medicine. This huge work was an imperial commission printed in 1742 (in the Qianlong reign period of the Qing dynasty).
